One of the areas that the Town of Danville is constantly trying to improve is parking. The Rose Street Parking Facility Project (Capital Improvement Project C-592) will help provide additional spaces in the downtown areas.
The project will include the construction of a new surface parking lot located at the northwest corner of Rose Street and East Linda Mesa Avenue. The project includes the demolition of the existing Town-owned buildings at 150 East Linda Mesa Avenue and 353 Rose Street, as well as the construction of a new 78 space municipal parking lot.
As part of the project, overhead utility lines will be moved to underground trenches, Rose Street will be resurfaced, and new landscaping and bio-retention facilities will be installed to assist with stormwater management.
